Connected Growth / Growth strategy & commercial alignment

Create more value between the parts.

Turn the connections between your businesses, offers and teams into a commercial opportunity people can act on. Agree the customer value, the responsibilities and the work needed to make it happen.

A view of the opportunity across the business, a shared commercial direction and a prioritised plan with owners. Useful for groups and for teams connecting offers within one business.

Talk about Connected Growth

What you receive

An opportunity map showing the selected businesses, offers and customer connections. An agreed proposition and journey for the opportunity in scope. A prioritised plan with owners, dependencies and measures. Where delivery needs a specialist brief, we agree that as part of the scope.

Useful when you’re

Helping businesses within a group open doors for one another

Connecting the proposition with the customer and sales experience

Choosing which marketing, data or technology changes deserve investment

The decisions and the work

A direction you
can put to work.

01

A view of the value between businesses

A map of complementary offers, customer relationships and capabilities. We identify where a connection could create value and what needs to be true for it to work.

02

A shared commercial direction

Agreed opportunities and a clear role for each participating team or business. The offer, narrative and customer journey support a common objective while preserving meaningful differences.

03

A plan people can own

A prioritised program with responsibilities, dependencies and measures. The plan makes clear where process, capability or technology needs to change and who will take each action forward.

Illustrative scope

Make one valuable connection across a group.

Map an agreed customer journey across participating businesses. Assess where complementary expertise could help the customer, define the proposition and handover, then identify ownership, measures and the practical changes needed to test the connection.

This example is a commercial strategy and planning scope. It does not assume every customer should be referred, every brand combined or every system replaced.

What we need from you

  • Leaders from the businesses or teams in scope, with a shared sponsor for decisions.
  • Relevant offers, customer journeys, performance information and existing referral or handover processes.
  • The delivery owners who can assess what is feasible and take agreed actions forward.

How we work together

Agree the question.
Build the direction.

01

Map the opportunity

We work with relevant leaders to understand offers, customers, capabilities and how value moves through the business. Commercial evidence keeps the conversation grounded.

02

Choose the connections

We assess the opportunities against customer value, commercial potential and the effort required. Leadership decides what to pursue, what to test and what can wait.

03

Set the work in motion

We translate the direction into an agreed plan, briefs and ownership. Your team and relevant specialists can then act with a shared understanding of the intended result.

We agree which businesses, teams and customer journeys are included. Detailed systems design, implementation and ongoing operations are separately scoped with named delivery owners.

Useful
questions.

Does commercial alignment mean combining all our brands?

No. We assess the customer value and commercial purpose of the connection. Separate brands and offers may remain useful. The work clarifies what should be connected and where meaningful differences should remain.

Can this support a group after an acquisition?

GRPL can help with commercial positioning, offers, customer connections and shared growth priorities. The scope identifies the businesses and decisions included. Legal, financial, clinical and other specialist integration responsibilities remain with the appropriately qualified advisers.

Is this only for groups with several businesses?

No. The same work can connect offers and teams within one business. The starting point is a meaningful commercial opportunity that requires people to work together.

Will you replace our systems?

Technology is considered in service of the commercial objective. We first establish what the business needs and what existing systems can support. Any implementation has its own scope and owner.

The next decision

Let’s get into it.
